Why Feed the Sparrow?

It is not as though they need our offerings. They have survived so long without our actions, and more importantly despite them. No, but let us appreciate their evolved form. Feathers, beautiful as they are useful. Producing warmth and cooling with equal efficiency. Most wondrous, in them, is their ability to produce flight. To carry the sparrow to food, from harm, to home. Yes, admire the sparrow, and not without some envy of their well balanced existence. So fed the sparrow to be nearer to them. Learn from them, in their simple and perfect beauty.
