Sweeping dust

The broom is a most curious human invention. Our attempt at imposing some measure of order to our surroundings. But the broom does not remove dust so much as rearrange and redeposit it. And of course there is irony in the fact that in the end, all is nothing more than dust. I imagine there is some greater force at work, somewhere, pushing yet another broom, one of cosmic proportions.
